Are you Art Unlimited’s next Staff Accountant?

This is a full-time position located at our office in Angora, Minnesota.

Online marketing & development involves teamwork to create and deploy highly efficient online marketing programs, including blogs, email campaigns, social media, SEO and online advertising.

Accounting responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and processing payments. You will also run accounting software programs (e.g. Quickbooks) to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts.
Ultimately, your position will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.

Typical Job Tasks include:

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the admin department
  • Process all incoming client payments daily
  • Sort & distribute incoming mail daily
  • Maintain internal filing system
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Assist in preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • Weekly enter key data of financial transactions in database
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel
  • Compile reports/summaries on activity areas as needed
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
  • Assist in managing internal retainer client budget spreadsheets
  • Participate in weekly meetings to assess workflow and company progression
  • Other duties as assigned

Our Ideal Candidate:

Education: Possesses knowledge and experience of online marketing. Two or four year degree preferred in Business/Accounting. Art Unlimited offers on-site training for the right applicant.

Experience: Must display an excellent knowledge and understanding of the English language and be able to communicate with clients and team members from various demographics. Ability to manage a project from start to finish with all the tasks associated with completing the total project. Ability to communicate effectively utilizing phone, email, project software, and face to face communication. In-house training for software is available for qualified applicant.

Technical Skills: Applicant must have exceptional internet and computer skills and be able to use a Mac and/or PC platform. Knowledge of QuickBooks, Google Business Suite Tools, email applications.

Communication Skills: Strong written and interpersonal communication skills are required with ability to self-direct when confronted with support issues. Ability to manage details, delegate tasks, be flexible, and have efficient work habits under a deadline, and communicate project budget requirements and status.

Physical Requirements: Constantly operates a computer or other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, or computer printer. Remains in a stationary position 75% of the day. Must communicate verbally by phone or in person with clients or team members.

Other skills: Applicant must be able to be productive in a fast paced work environment. Time sensitive projects must be completed within deadlines. Must be able to work on team based projects. A valid driver’s license is required.
